Extended Care is a program provided by St. Andrew School for parents that work. Children can stay at school in a safe, structured environment most days until 5:30 p.m. daily. See the Extended Care calendar for specific days when Extended Care may not be available.

Children are signed in each day by the Extended Care Coordinator. Parents are expected to sign their children out when they pick them up each day.

All children are required to go outside, weather permitting. Parents are expected to dress their children accordingly. Parents must send a written note if a child should NOT go outdoors due to illness.

Payment is due on the last day of each week unless other arrangements are made. Checks are to be written to Saint Andrew Extended Care and should not be combined with other school fees. Checks should be turned in to the coordinator. Fees for "drop-ins" are expected to be paid on the same day. If your family is having financial difficulties and you cannot make a payment on time, please contact the school principal.
Fees for Extended Care are as follows:
$2.00 - 30 minutes for students staying after school for ball practices which begin at 3:30
$3.00 - 1 hour or less per child (10 minute grace period)
$6.00 - Over one hour
$10.00 - Over 2 1/2 hours on 12:00 noon dismissal days
Failure to pick up children by 5:30 p.m. will result in a $1.00 per minute fine which is to be paid upon pick-up of your child(ren).

If your child is registered for Extended Care on an as-needed basis, you will need to contact the office in advance to make sure space is available in Extended Care. Please try to give at least a 24 hour notice.

|
Volunteers are needed from time-to-time to help out with crafts or other activities. Please e-mail the coordinator or leave a message in the office if you are willing to volunteer.
